

Adopt-a-SchoolPartners in education What is Adopt-A-School?The Adopt-A-School program, sponsored by Chandler-Brownsboro Area Chamber of Commerce and Brownsboro Independent School District, fosters a partnership between businesses, agencies and organizations and the public schools. Adoptions are “tailor-made” to suit each business and school, depending on the company’s resources and the school’s needs. What is the purpose?The Adopt-A-School program fosters a better understanding of the Brownsboro public schools, enhances numerous programs and most of all, makes a big difference in the overall educational process. The AAS program is not designed for just financial support and neither party in the adoption is the sole beneficiary. The student reap benefits when a business or group makes a commitment to their education, while the adopter receives a strong sense of satisfaction knowing that they are helping tomorrow’s work force. The adopters derive a great deal of public relations in the community through the work they do at a particular school.
