April 2011 through October 2011:

• 2^nd Tuesday Night of Each Month, from 6 to 8 PM — Brookshire’s in Chandler
• 4^th Tuesday Night of Each Month, from 6 to 8 PM — Sissy’s Cafe in Brownsboro

Information

Greetings to my fellow CBACC members! This is Kimberly Sutherland, your 2011 CBACC Vice Chairman AND Chairman of the Cruise Night Committee for the CBACC.

CBACC “Cruise Night” Season begins on April 12, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM at Brookshire’s in Chandler. For the Kick-off of the season, free hamburgers, cooked on site, will be provided by Brookshire’s for all Contest Participants and the voting attendees (public). Cast your Ballot for your favorite ride, get a Burger. In addition to our regular Chandler Cruise Nights, Sissy’s in Brownsboro will be hosting a Brownsboro Cruise Night as well with the help of the CBACC! I am very excited about this additional cruise Night venue!

We have been busy working on enhancing an already fantastic event in order to benefit the Cruise Night participants, the community, and ultimately benefit our Chamber and its valued members as well.

We have a DJ that will be playing Oldies music throughout both Cruise Nights. He will also be making plugs throughout the event for businesses that are present and helping with Cruise Night and/or have donated items to the Cruise Nights.

Itenerary:

• Registration for participants will begin at approximately 5:45 PM. It is free to enter the contest.
• Cars will be lined up in the parking lots for display.
• Each contestant will receive a number along with being placed in a specific category, in the order that they registered, and that number will be placed on their automobile windshield.
• The winners will be determined based on people’s choice voting. Anyone that comes to view and admire the Cruise Night vehicles will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites by simply putting the participant number on a simple ballot.
• Around 7:30 we will begin to count our ballots and the last ballot will be taken at 7:45. We will announce our winners between 7:45 and 8 PM.
• During the Cruise Nights, men, women and children of all ages stroll around, talking and mingling and admiring the contestants’ vehicles. This is a great opportunity for our businesses to network and meet new potential contacts/customers as well.

5. Ride of the Night — People’s Choice Overall Winner — Grand Prize

One winner per category. Each category winner will at the very least receive a framed winner certificate with their name and automobile on it. The Grand Prize winner will get a certificate that night also and will have their picture taken next to their automobile at the end of the night and will receive a print of that picture inside a special frame with a small plaque on the frame showing the winning information (CBACC Chandler Cruise Night “Ride of the Night”) from CBACC the following week. Pictures will also be placed on our web site.

Additional prizes per category to be determined.
